A Quick (But Fun) Update…

Hello friends, family, people of the internet!

I’m sitting here writing Christmas cards and am currently overcome with gratitude. I figured this was a good a time as any to post a much-needed update to our cyber folk hangout.

I just want to say a big thank you, on behalf of Josh and Neil as well, for sticking around and supporting us despite our MIA status these past few months. Recently people have been asking me what we’re up to, and that serves as a great reminder that people actually care about what we do. That’s big. We’re so grateful. We owe you a bit of an update.

I’m delighted to say that we are almost done the album (almost done! Almost done! I have been waiting to be able to say that!) We’re finishing recording the last few parts and we’re planning on getting some new creative stuff public in the first few months of 2014. The process has been long and beautifully fruitful. 2014 will be a busy year for us and we are ECSTATIC.

I also want to take a moment to point out that I am surrounded by some of the most hard working, loving, and virtuous men around. To think that these guys put up with my stubbornness and inability to work at night astounds me. Jess, Neil, Harley, Josh— I am so blessed. I am so proud of the work they do.

Merry Advent, everybody. I hope your bellies are full with lovely baking and the little chocolates from your Santa calendars.

Love,
Sydney

Ps. Are you free on December 21st? We’re playing as a part of “The Band That Saved Christmas” at The Dundarave Festival of Lights with some of our favourite people in the world. It’s going to be more fun than you can handle (and it’s free.) True story.
